Apples Newest Releases

This past week Apple released their new software update the iOS7. Everyone went crazy about it including myself. Later this month, Apple will also be releasing two new types of iPhones, the 5S and the 5c.

The New York Times did an article on the two new releases coming out, the iPhone 5S and the 5c.They say that the only difference between the original 5 and the 5S is the updated camera and the fingerprint reader to unlock the phone and make sure no one breaks in. The 5c however, according to the New York Times, looks similar to the old phones, however it does come in various colors, such as blue, yellow, and green and it is still a step up from the original equipment and data wise. Also according to the New York Times, many technology writers recommend either of the new iPhones, unless you already have the original iPhone 5 since it is not that much of an upgrade from that.

However, something is article did not mention was the new software update, the iOS7. Since this update is free, everyone went crazy this past week waiting to download it, including myself. This software update gives the users new technology to use, such as iTunes radio and an updates Siri. This software also looks different visually on the phone. Customers do not need the newest iPhone in order to get the iOS7 update, so this means that each customer can have the most up to date software from the company.

  1. Alexandra, I really like this article. It is simple and gives you a lot of facts and even gives you suggestions (such as not upgrading if you already have the iPhone 5). It is a really interesting point that you make that the author did not mention the iOS7 update since it is so incredibly different from the previous software. I do love the new software though!
