Is Sochi a Big No-chi? #SochiProblems

The 2014 Winter Olympics have begun and it may seem that the Olympics are the least popular they have ever been.  This may be because, I'm in college and don't have time to watch TV, or the negative hashtags and stories I have seen on Twitter and other news sources.  From Bob Costas having an eye infection on live television to the Olympic Rings malfunctioning during the opening ceremony, these were hashtagged #SochiFails on Twitter and were seen on Yahoo and the link below:

Other stories seen around and about Sochi are the problems with this city (hashtagged as #SochiProblems) are some which involve the terrible hotel rooms, the killing of stray animals and the Nightmare Bear (#NightmareBear) all seen below:

#SochiFails and #SochiProblems have been trending tweet over the past few days, giving me the impression that I should have no interest in watching these games, this year, and as well as, feel safe to travel to that city anytime in my life.  Twitter has helped show me the problems of this worldwide event and may have set the bar for the worst possible place to have any event.  Let's go U.S.A!
