Twitter's New Look

The web is always changing, adding more content, making use simpler or even expanding the horizons for how and for what it is used for. It is now Twitter’s turn to change things up a bit. The main profile pages for each user are currently undergoing testing. By expanding their structure, they are able to add more functions that will lead to making navigation and use easier and a bit simpler. When looking at your own Twitter page, the lay out for all of your posts are no longer sorted in a vertical fashion that resembles a list. The current lay out that is being played around with is in box form.  If they post includes a photo or video, the box will be bigger to show a sufficient preview.  When looking at you “friends” or “followers” list, the lay out is very similar too your main page. It also shows the picture of the person and their description. Added on too their box, there is a settings/ edit tab. This allows you to quickly look the followers you share, the conversations that have happened, un-follow or block them. The biggest problem with this idea is the slight resemblance too Facebook’s display. I do not see the problem and I also think that this change, if implemented will be a successful move on Twitter’s part. It could lead to more users due to the ease of navigation and the fluid design. 1. I have to say that i really don't like Twitters new layout, i attemped to avoid updating my Twitter for as long as i could. I would have to agree that the larger part of why i dislike the "new" Twitter so much is because of how much it resembles Facebook.
