Previously, dating- both online and in person- has been pretty hit or miss. Often times the attraction just isn't there. How can you skip over this discouragement? Send in a DNA sample!

According to CNet.com, there's a new online dating feature that allows singles looking for love to send cheek swabs in and get them analyzed. The site then sets you up with individuals you're most likely to be physically attracted to based on genetic factors.
This concept seems a tad overbearing. On top of sending in your DNA to a for-profit, not necessarily reliable company, you're practically mail-ordering a lover.

Approaching dating like this is a completely new dimension to this type of social media. Are we being ushered into a new era of genetically-verified technology? The iPhone 5s already has a fingerprint capability, perhaps in the future starter kits will come with a cheek swab.
And people worry about having their identity stolen via there SSN or bank accounts? This is truly creepy, as you pointed out in the caption to the graphic
