New Zealand Company Unveils Jet Pack

Jetpacks have always been a topic of interest in Hollywood.  Anyone who has ever watched Thunderball, the 1965 James Bond film, has certainly wondered if a jetpack can be purchased- or even feasible, for that matter.

Well, it turns out that jetpacks are very much a real entity, and are not just ascribed to summer blockbusters.  Martin Jetpack, a New Zealand-based company, has just revealed a new Jetpack prototype- and have set a release date to the general public for 2015.  There's just one catch: it'll cost you $200k to buy one.

Obviously, a jetpack seems like an incredibly unorthodox and unnecessary purchase; but if J.R. Smith can buy a military-grade armored truck, then it is not crazy to think that you will soon be witnessing the ultra-wealthy making their daily commute via jetpack.  Personally, if I ever have more money than I know what to do with, I will certainly contemplate the idea of buying my own personal jetpack.
